Carrot ASSOL
Excellent eating quality, high-yielding and marketability of carrot-root
Assol - Early-ripening variety. Vegetational period from sprouting to industrial ripeness is 65-70 days. It is characterized by simultaneous fruit formation that gives opportunity to obtain the earliest bunching products. Cylindrical-shaped, blunt carrot-root has smooth skin in the length of 14-16 cm and weight 75-150 g. External colour is orange and flesh is bright-orange, juicy with excellent eating qualities and high carotene content. The core isn't big. The variety is characterized by high yield about 60-70 t/ha, it's marketability and simultaneous fruit formation. They recommend to sow carrot after such crops that had organic fertilizer. To receive early fruits or fruits for processing it is better to sow carrot at the earliest possible opportunity (the end of the March - the beginning of the April). The distance between row should be 30-45 cm.
