Carrot MAZURKA
Excellent eating quality, high-yielding and marketability of carrot-root
Mazurka - Middle-late all-purpose variety. Vegetational period from sprouting to industrial ripeness is 120-130 days. Conical-shaped carrot root with a shallow eyes in a length of 21-23 cm, weight 100-150 g. The external colour is deep orange and flesh is orange-red, juicy with excellent eating qualities. It is valued for it's marketability, high yield (60-90 t/ha) and good storage qualities. It is used both fresh and for conservation. They recommend to sow carrot after such crops that had organic fertilizer. It is used direct sowing through seeds into the ridges or not. Sowing into the ridges is ideal for regions with sufficient moistening on heavy and middle-heavy soil or with using irrigation system.
