Freska - Mid-ripening variety of curly parsley. The period from sprouting to first harvest is 60-70 days. Mid-growing plant. Strong mid-raised spreading leaf rosette. Medium sized, dark-green, corrugated leaves. After cutting leaves grow fast. It is valuable for rich aroma greens. Mid-ripening variety of curly parsley is suitable for open ground or under cover growing. Parsley needs soil fertility, deep loose tilth-top soil, loamy sand. The best forecrops are cucumbers, tomato, onion. It is recommended to sow parsley in few seasons in early-spring (the end of April – the beginning of May) for winter products (October-November ) in the middle of the summer ( the end of June). Seeds are sown in beds with distance between plants of 3-4 cm and row spacing is 20-30 cm. It is recommended to consume as fresh or dried. The yield of this variety is 3-5 kg/m2. Freska is characterized by high leaves yield (strong corrugated leaves), fast growing and high aroma eating qualities.
