Hirei - Early-ripening variety of white onion. Vegetational period is 80-90 days. Dark-green leaves with a bloom wax that make it resistant to many diseases. Medium-sized flat bulbs weight 110-160 g. External skin is silvery white and internal is white and juicy. It is suitable to grow for early production and salads. It's not recommended for long storage. It is recommended to be grown in all regions by sowing in a n open ground or through seedling. Plant population for hectare is 0,7-0,9 million. To receive bigger bulbs use thinning sowing 0,6-0,8 million plants per hectare. It is recommended to use 8-6 gutter sowing during drop irrigation. Right sowing is a foundation for high yield. It helps to receive high-quality products. The yield is 45-60 t/ha.
