Krymskyi sladkii - Mid-ripening variety. Vegetational period is 90-100 days from sprouting to full lodging of plants. Variety with average growing power, dark-green leaves and bloom wax. Medium-sized, flat round-shaped bulbs weight 120-160 g. External skin is violet and dark-violet and internal is juicy, white with violet tint. Bulbs have sweetish mid-flavor taste. It is suitable for storage (3-4 month). The yield is 60-70 t/ha. It is recommended to be grown by sowing in a n open ground or through seedling ( sowing in the drawer). The amount of seeds are 4-5 kg/ha. Plant population is 0,5-0,7 million per hectare. Right sowing is a foundation for high yield. The process of mechanical work, harvesting in the field, and onion dying are easier if the distance between plants is equal. It gives opportunities to receive high-quality product. Harvesting should be started after 80-90% of plants lodging.
