Karbona - Early-ripening radish variety. The period from sprouting to harvesting is 25-30 days. Round-shaped radish-root, in diameter it is 4-5 cm, weight 25-35 g, with a smooth skin that has bright-red colour and attractive marketability. The flesh is firm, white and white pink, has excellent eating qualities and mid-flavor. It has a medium-sized tops. It is possible to grow both in open ground or under cover. In the period of first-leaf formation they can form plant population if it is necessary. Variety is characterized by high yield (60-75 t/ha) and is suitable for single harvest. To receive chain production in the spring it is needed to sow radish for a few times with interval of 7-10 days. It is suitable both for bunching and by weight sales. It is recommended to grow both in open ground or under cover.
