Tomato ZHAVORONOK F1

Ultra-early ripening hybrid with high-yielding and marketability qualities


Zhavoronok F1 - Ultra-early ripening hybrid (period from sprouting to harvesting is 80-85 days) that is suitable for receiving early products outdoors or in green-houses. Determinate, strong plant-type in the height of 75-90 cm. Fruits are even, light-red, round-shaped without green sport near the stalk, weight 110-120 g; they are firm, fleshy, with excellent eating qualities. Hybrid is valuable for its excellent fruit-settling at any weather conditions. It has high shipping qualities. It is characterized by simultaneous fruiting, resistance to bacterial black spot and alternia blight. Regular irrigation is needed. The yield of Zhavoronok F1 in green-house is 12-14 kg/m2, outdoors it is 6,5-7,5 kg/m2. Light fertile soil is suitable for tomatoes. The best fore-crops are cucumbers, cabbages, onions, carrots, legumes. For seedling Zhavoronok F1 should be sown in the end of March or in the beginning of April. Outdoor transplanting starts at the age of 55-70 days when the risk frost passes, but in the green-house it can be transplanted earlier. Recommended planting system is 70 x 30-40 cm. The next steps are regular irrigation and crop feeding.
