High-yielding, large-fruited, all-purpose

Ballada - Mid-ripening variety. The period from sprouting to fruit ripening is 114-116 days. Determinate plant type, the height of main stalk is 45-50 cm. The first inflorescence forms above 6-7 leaf. Fruits are bright red with flat-round shape and weight 130-150 g. Fruits contain 5,0-6.0% of dry basis, 3.1-4,0% of saccharose, 19,1-21,6% of ascorbic acid, acidity is 0,47-0,54%. Good eating qualities. It is characterized by simultaneous fruiting and high yield of standard fruits (95%). It is tolerant to tomato mosaic viruses, alternaria blight and bacterial black spot. The yield is 60-80 t/ha. It can be grown through seedling or sowing. Planting system depends on the irrigation system and soil type. This variety is the most popular variety for large-volume production. Thanks to high content of dry basis this variety is ideal for tomato juice and tomato paste.
